WSO2 implementation partner4.7

Open enterprise integration on WSO2.

For Australian enterprises that want the shape of a Mulesoft or Apigee outcome without the lock-in or the renewal letter. WSO2 4.7 in production: API Control Plane, Universal Gateway, the WSO2 Integrator and Identity Server in one open stack. Agentic AI lives here too.

Three ways we help

Whatever stage you are at with WSO2, we meet you there.

Most enterprises arrive with one of three problems. We pick the engagement that fits, and we are honest when more than one applies.

Capability A

Open API management and gateway

WSO2 API Manager 4.7 in production. API Control Plane for design and lifecycle, Universal Gateway for traffic, Traffic Manager for policy enforcement. The same shape as proprietary platforms, without the renewal letter.

  • Full API lifecycle: design, publish, subscribe, monetize.
  • Universal Gateway with policy enforcement at the edge.
  • Developer portal that customers actually use.
Capability B

Integration on the WSO2 Integrator

Mediation, orchestration and enterprise integration patterns on the open Integrator. Connectors, pipelines and stateful workflows that hold up under audit. Same posture as proprietary iPaaS, with portability you keep.

  • Mediation and orchestration over your existing estate.
  • First-class connectors for the systems Australian enterprises actually run.
  • Sovereign deployment. The Integrator runs where you put it.
Capability C

Identity included, not retrofitted

WSO2 Identity Server is part of the platform. SSO, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, adaptive authentication. One coherent stack instead of stitching an IDP onto a separate gateway.

  • WSO2 Identity Server with the rest of the platform.
  • Adaptive authentication and federated identity.
  • Procurement-grade governance without a separate vendor relationship.
Why WSO2

Open by design. Agentic by capability. Yours by deployment.

WSO2 covers integration, API management, identity and agentic AI in one open platform, deployable on your own infrastructure. The same posture we apply to .NET modernisation (private, governed, auditable) extends naturally to integration and AI work.

Open source

No black boxes. No surprise pricing pages.

Run it where you want

Your VPC, your data centre, your sovereignty boundary.

Agentic, not just APIs

MCP servers and agent orchestration as first-class concerns.

Identity and integration in one

Auth, APIM and integration on a coherent open stack.

What an assessment gets you

Concrete artefacts. No discovery deck theatre.

Architecture sketch

A target-state diagram showing where WSO2 fits beside what you already run, and what it does not need to replace.

MCP server design

A list of the legacy and SaaS systems worth wrapping first, and the agent-facing interface for each.

Agentic workflow blueprint

One or two end-to-end agentic workflows, drawn at a level your delivery team can execute and your security team can sign off.

Honest delivery plan

Time-boxed phases with clear exits, so you can stop after phase one if the value is not there.

WSO2 FAQ

What enterprises ask before they commit.

Why WSO2 instead of a closed iPaaS or hyperscaler-native stack?

WSO2 is open source, runs on your infrastructure, and covers integration, API management, identity and now agentic AI in one coherent platform. Closed iPaaS products lock your integrations, your auth and your AI tooling into a single vendor's roadmap and pricing model. WSO2 keeps the same capability under your control.

What is an MCP server and why do I want one in front of my legacy systems?

Model Context Protocol (MCP) is the emerging open standard for letting AI agents call tools and read data in a safe, structured way. An MCP server is the wrapper around a system that exposes its capabilities to agents. Putting one in front of your legacy SAP, AS400, mainframe or in-house apps lets modern AI agents use them without rewriting them. The legacy system stays as it is. The wrapper handles auth, schemas, rate limiting and audit.

We already have an integration platform. Do we need to rip and replace?

No. Most of our WSO2 engagements are augmentations, not replacements. We typically introduce WSO2 Integrator alongside existing integration tooling to deliver a specific outcome (an agentic AI workflow, an MCP layer over a legacy estate, a partner API programme) and let it earn the right to expand from there.

How does this connect to your AI readiness and .NET work?

Cleanly. The same posture we apply to .NET modernisation (private infrastructure, IP protection, governed AI execution) carries straight into WSO2 work. Agents talk to your legacy estate through an MCP layer that you control, on infrastructure that you own. No customer data or system metadata leaks to a public AI vendor.

What differentiates us

Twenty-five years across software. A decade with enterprises. A practical view of AI.

Our principal and key architect partners have worked in software development for more than 25 years. We have watched technologies and patterns evolve, and we know which ones survive contact with production.

Over the last decade, we have partnered with small to large enterprises on code modernisation and API commercialisation, building outcomes that hold up under audit and renewal.

AI did not arrive overnight. It went through a long maturity curve, and we were there for most of it. That history gives us a deeper understanding of how to enable businesses with practical AI solutions, not demos.

The collective brings the combined knowledge and experience to take your business through the AI era journey, safely and successfully.
