Four steps, the same for every engagement.

Each step says what happens, what it costs and what you get. You decide after each one whether to go on.

  1. Initial call

    Free

    A 30-minute call with a senior engineer. Bring one problem. We tell you whether we can help, and if not, who you should talk to instead.

    You get: A clear yes or no, and the next step.

    Request a free 30-minute call We call this a Fit call.

  2. Discovery

    Paid. Quoted first, with the time planned by both of us

    We look closely at what you want to achieve, the process or systems involved, and what stands in the way. We agree how long it takes with you, and quote the price before we start.

    You get: A written plan: what to do first, how long it will take and what it will cost. You decide whether to go ahead.

  3. Build and validate

    Paid, as set out in the plan

    We build in small steps, in your systems and your code repository, and check each step against the goals we agreed at the start. We only modernise a system where it stands in the way.

    You get: Working, tested software, documented as we go. You can stop after any step.

  4. Support

    Agreed with you

    Post-production continuity support. Once it is live, we keep it running well: we watch it, fix what breaks and keep checking it against the goals we agreed. Your team learns how it works.

    You get: Something that keeps working after launch, and a team that understands it. What is covered, and how fast we respond, is agreed with you.
