Business owners and founders

Turn the idea into something your customers can rely on.

A new product, customer service that keeps up with demand, or systems that finally talk to each other. You do not need a technology team or a technical brief to start. Bring the idea; we help scope it, build it and hand it over documented, with the code in your repository.

How an idea becomes a piece of work. You bring the idea, who it is for and what it should change. We work out with you what the first release does, what it connects to and the limits on customer data. You receive a written scope with fees and timelines, working software in your repository, and documentation with a handover.

01 / Where it starts

The moments that bring business owners to us.

Most owners come to us with one of these. None of them needs a technology team to solve.

  • You have an idea for a new product or service, and nobody in the business to build it.
  • Customer enquiries are growing faster than your team can answer them well.
  • The same repetitive work is done by hand every day, and it should not need to be.
  • Your systems do not talk to each other, so orders and customer details get typed in twice.
  • You tried building it with AI tools, and it works in a demo but not reliably with real customers.
  • A competitor is giving customers a better experience, and your current software cannot match it.

What has to hold

  • It has to work with real customers, at real volumes, not only in a demo.
  • Customer data stays under your control.
  • You do not want to hire a technology team for one project.
  • You want to know what it costs and how long it takes before you commit.

02 / What we do for owners

Build it, automate it, or connect it.

Three kinds of work, often in the same business. We will tell you which one to start with.

  • A new product or capability

A customer app, portal, feature or internal tool, with or without AI. We start from what it should do for your customers and build the first release to cope with real use.

    What we build
  • Customer service and enquiry automation

AI that answers, sorts and follows up customer enquiries, with your team handling anything that needs a person, inside limits you set. We design it around how your customer service works today.

We also build DogmaEngage, our own product for answering and qualifying enquiries in service businesses. It is our product, not a client result. Read about DogmaEngage

    How we automate
  • Connecting the systems you already run

Your online store, accounting, customer records and stock, talking to each other so orders and customer details move without being typed in twice. We connect what you have before suggesting anything new.

03 / How it works

From an idea to a scoped piece of work.

You bring the business problem. Turning it into something an engineer can build is our job, not yours.

  1. 01

Tell us the idea in your own words.

What it should do for customers, what it should change in the business, and anything you already know cannot change. No technical specification needed.

  2. 02

We turn it into a scope.

A senior engineer works out with you what the first release must do, what it connects to and what can wait. You get it in writing, with deliverables, assumptions, timelines and fees, before you commit.

  3. 03

We build it in stages you can see.

Working software, tested against how your customers will use it, and built in your own code repository.

  4. 04

    We hand it over.

Documentation and a handover your team, or any developer you choose later, can pick up, with any support after launch agreed before the work starts.

04 / What we hear most

The questions owners ask before they commit.

  • “We built a version with AI tools. It works in the demo.”

That is a good start, and a common place to get stuck. Running it reliably with real customers takes the security, testing, error handling and monitoring that demos skip. We can tell you what yours needs to hold up, and build what is missing.

  • “Off-the-shelf software gets us 80% of the way.”

Then keep it for that part. Often the right answer is to build only what is missing and connect it to what you already use, and we will tell you when off-the-shelf is enough on its own.

  • “Software projects have been slow and expensive for us before.”

That usually comes from a vague scope and work you cannot see. We agree a first piece of work in writing before we start, build it in stages you can see, and you decide what comes next once it is working.

  • “We do not want a technology team for one project.”

You do not need one. We bring the senior engineers the project needs, and hand it over documented, so you can run it, extend it later, or bring it back to us.

  • “What will it cost, and how long will it take?”

That depends on what the first release has to do, so we do not guess before we understand it. You get a written proposal with deliverables, assumptions, timelines and fees before you commit to anything.

  • “We cannot hand our customer data to just anyone.”

You decide what the software, and any AI in it, may use, where the data is stored and who has access, and those limits are built into the system rather than left to good intentions. Where data has to stay on infrastructure you control, we can design for that.

  • “We do not want to depend on one provider.”

Every project ends with documentation and a handover, and the code sits in your repository. Whether you run it yourselves, hire a developer or keep working with us is your choice.

05 / Evidence

A product we delivered, and a client's words.

A completed consumer health app, built for a high-volume user base, and a Google review of a Xero and WordPress integration, quoted as the client wrote it.

  • Delivered client work

A consumer-facing health app on Google Cloud infrastructure, designed from day one for a high-volume user base.

Google review

“Huge thanks to Sanjeev Narayan at Artrilogic Pty Ltd, Melbourne , for the fantastic support in integrating Xero and WordPress. The work was done efficiently, explained clearly, and exactly when I needed it most. His technical knowledge and hands-on know-how were evident throughout the entire integration process. Highly recommend!”

Common questions

Before we get started.

Do I need a detailed technical brief?

No. Bring the process, the outcome you want and any constraints you already know. We help turn that into a practical scope of work.

Can you work with our existing systems and team?

Yes. Automation usually starts with what is already in place. We look at your systems, agree responsibilities with your team and plan changes around business continuity.

Who owns what you build?

By default, you do. What we build for you is yours, and the code lives in your repository, so it is never held somewhere you cannot reach. What we keep is our own way of working: the methods and know-how we bring to every engagement. Every engagement is different, so the terms are set out in the written proposal before any work begins.

Will I be locked in?

No. The code is in your repository and documented, so another team could pick it up. Where AI is part of the product, we design it so the AI model can be changed for a better or cheaper one without rebuilding the product.

Have an idea?

Tell us what the business needs next.

Bring the idea, the customer problem or the part of the business that runs on manual work. We will tell you what it takes to build properly and what the first piece of work should be.
