Cloud remediation

Read the estate. Find the leaks. Fix the posture.

A two to three week diagnostic of your AWS or Azure estate. The deliverable is a written list of the leaks that matter, sized in dollars per month, with a phased plan to close them. Most engagements pay for themselves inside a quarter.

The feeling

The cloud bill keeps surprising us, and nobody can fully explain why.

Different teams own different pieces. The full picture lives in the bill. The next month is always the one we will look at it properly.

The cost of doing nothing

Quietly accumulating cloud waste compounds faster than the team has time to chase.

By the time someone is told to find ten percent, the leaks have been earning interest for a year. Steady-state hygiene is much cheaper than reactive cuts.

The calm offer

Two to three weeks. Written list of leaks, sized in dollars. A phased plan to close them.

We work alongside your existing team. We hand the estate back maintainable. The deliverable is something your team can operate without us.

How the engagement runs

Four phases. Honest checkpoints.

  1. Read the estate

Bill, resource graph, IAM posture, change history. We assemble the full picture in week one. The deliverable is a written summary of what is in the estate and what it actually costs.

  2. Name the leaks

Idle workloads, misconfigured storage tiers, untagged resources, oversized instances, forgotten test environments. Each leak is sized in dollars per month. Each has a named owner.

  3. Fix the operational posture

Tagging policy, lifecycle rules, cost alerts, ownership boundaries. The change that stops the next round of leaks before they appear. We work to your existing change processes.

  4. Hand back maintainable

Runbooks, dashboards, documented decisions, named owners. Your team can operate the estate without us. We are explicit about that on the assessment.

What you get

A document your CFO and your engineering lead can both read.

  • A list of the leaks that matter, sized in dollars per month
  • A named owner against each one inside your business
  • A phased plan to close them, with the smallest useful first slice
  • Tagging, lifecycle, and cost-alert recommendations to stop the next round
  • A handover that does not require us to stay
